About Us

Under new management since March 2021, we’ve worked tirelessly to build a pub that features the food we love to eat, in a modern, comfortable environment we love to be in. Our philosophy was if we could create something we loved and if we could get the food spot on, then we’d continue the journey of the Royal Oak (which started in 1837) for a long time to come. We believe finding good food should be plain sailing. We use the best seasonal ingredients to create traditional dishes that are bursting with flavour. From the choice of meats to cheese, we try our best to source everything locally so you can enjoy the complete Welsh food experience. Fresh seafood, family favourites, small plates and specials, we like to think we have something for everyone. 

Families

Small portions for little people, colouring activities and baby change facilities – we’re a family-run pub and very much look forward to meeting you and yours. 

Dogs

Well-behaved, socialised, and friendly dogs are welcome. 

Opening Hours

We are open every day from 11am to 11.00pm. 

Food is served from 12pm to 8pm every day.

Steak night every Wednesday.

Sunday Lunch is served until 3.30pm (with a steak or fish option), and our main menu is then served from 5pm.

The children’s menu is available daily.
